Letter from Canada

In the winter of 2011 my teenage daughter and I set out to find the impossible before a trip to Montreal and New York… a pair of boots for her that were warm, water-resistant, comfortable and stylish. We found a pair of Pikolinos that were perfect!

So perfect that my daughter fell in love with them. She walked for miles in them and received many compliments on how nice they looked. We had them re-heeled a few times but they are beginning to wear out even though they still look in great shape (see photo below). This summer we were in New York City and we found the Pikolinos store in the Meatpacking District. I treated my daughter to a new pair of black Brujas boots to replace her old ones and I treated myself to a pair of brown Brujas and grey Lisboa ankle boots… so wonderfully comfortable and so stylish!  Last week I told my daughter we should donate her old boots to the thrift store for someone less fortunate and initially she agree but as we neared the donation box she said, “No, I can’t part with my Pikolinos just yet….I love them“.

I am sure we will walk many miles in our new Pikolinos and receive many compliments. We tell everyone we love our Pikolinos
